Wagging Tales Press is proud to announce its transition into Wagging Tales Press Publishing, the literary arm of the newly launched Wagging Tales Press, LLC. This milestone marks the imprint’s evolution into a central pillar of a multi-division creative studio dedicated to publishing, story development, and screen-ready intellectual property.

Founded by author and creator Melinda Falgoust, Wagging Tales Press has spent years building a reputation for heartfelt, imaginative storytelling across genres. With today’s launch of Wagging Tales Press, LLC, the imprint now takes its place within a larger creative ecosystem designed to take stories from spark to shelf—and sometimes all the way to screen.

A Natural Evolution Into a Bigger Vision

“Wagging Tales Press started as one woman’s dream to tell good stories well,” says founder Melinda Falgoust. “As the catalog grew and our ambitions expanded, it became clear that we needed a formal studio structure capable of nurturing ideas at every stage—from early concept to polished manuscript to film-ready IP. Becoming the literary arm of Wagging Tales Press, LLC is the next logical step.”

As the Publishing Division, Wagging Tales Press Publishing continues its core mission of producing high-quality, commercially appealing books across multiple pen names and genres, including cozy mysteries, middle grade adventures, thrillers, rom-coms, horror, and educational nonfiction.

Acting as the creative laboratory of the company, the Story Studio guides every new idea through a structured yet playful development pipeline. Concepts move from Ruff Cut to Concept Kennel to Freshly Groomed and beyond, emerging as fully realized intellectual properties ready for publication, licensing, or adaptation. This arm supports both the Publishing Division and Unleashed Studios.

Unleashed Studios | Film & Television Adaptation Division

Where stories take the leap from page to screen.

Unleashed Studios develops WTP’s highest-potential properties for the entertainment industry, creating loglines, pitch decks, lookbooks, treatments, and screenplays for studio, network, and streamer consideration. Its inaugural lineup—the Super Six Slate—includes a curated selection of commercially strong, screen-focused IP designed for today’s Hollywood market.

A One-Woman Creative Studio With Big Ambition

Though the studio’s newly organized structure is fresh, the vision behind it is well established. Drawing from decades of creative work, teaching experience, and indie publishing expertise, Melinda Falgoust designed Wagging Tales Press, LLC as a creator-forward home for imaginative, emotionally resonant storytelling.
